Sessions with Christy

Types of Sessions:

OCD Specialist Support

Specialist support for individuals experiencing obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), drawing on over four years of experience working in a specialist OCD clinic, complemented by personal lived experience of OCD. These evidence-informed sessions provide a safe, compassionate space to better understand OCD, develop practical strategies, and build confidence in managing symptoms.

Integrative Wellbeing Sessions

Personalised one-to-one sessions for those experiencing stress, anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, bereavement, trauma, or other life challenges. Using an integrative approach informed by counselling theory, psychology, and hypnotherapy, sessions are tailored to your individual needs and goals in a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environment.

Wellbeing Check-In Phone Calls

Friendly, supportive telephone calls designed to reduce loneliness, provide regular emotional support, and offer a consistent point of connection. Ideal for older adults or anyone who would benefit from regular conversation, reassurance, and ongoing wellbeing support from the comfort of their own home.

Further Information:

It’s for the moments when you feel overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, lonely, or simply need someone kind and steady to listen.

It doesn’t involve clinical treatment, diagnosis, or intervention. Instead, it focuses on:

  • Being heard and understood
  • Processing emotions in real time
  • Gaining clarity through conversation
  • Feeling less alone
  • Strengthening self-trust and resilience

Sometimes what we need most isn’t a solution — it’s a grounded, caring presence.

What Happens in a Session?

You can:

  • Share whatever is weighing on you
  • Untangle thoughts and feelings
  • Explore decisions in a calm space
  • Receive gentle reflection and encouragement

You show up as you are.

There’s no pressure to “perform,” fix everything, or have it all figured out.

Testimonials:

“I found Christy to be empathetic, sincere and generally a lovely person. Our conversations together made me feel less anxious, and allowed me to process my grief in a gentle and kind atmosphere. She gave me confidence in my own feelings and emotions, and enabled me to process them in a logical way. Christy untangled the big ball of thoughts in my mind and I enjoyed her company whilst doing so. I would like to thank Christy for helping me navigate a complex and sad emotional time that was a great challenge and test in my life. She has made such a profound impact that I know I will carry with me through the months ahead. I am so hugely grateful to her.”

“From the very beginning, Christy made me feel deeply understood and supported. She brings a calm, compassionate approach. Working with her has given me tools I never thought I’d have. I’ve gone from feeling overwhelmed to actually feeling empowered and in control. Christy has helped me build resilience, self-awareness, and a genuine sense of peace in areas where I used to feel so much fear. She gets to the heart of it, and she does it with such care and warmth. Thank you Christy.”
